I am going to use Modbus RTU to communicate between CP 341 (Master) with two chillers (Slaves). I have got CP 341 with configuration package and Modbus master license with the dongle.

What I know is that I should install the config. Package first and then install the Modbus master license.IS that correct?

in my opinion if you have realtively new CP341 module, MB driver is already installed on CP and all what you need is put dongle inside CP and configure CP with CPU, nothing else. You can prepare all with cfg and program and test with some PC MB Slave simulation SW as with your real Slave device. SW package can be located on CD, but you can look to this link for more infos:

all depends to your interface type - RS232 or RS485. Look to manuals where you can find wiring schema. Of course you need connect your CP341 with PC physically, to PC COM port or to USB-serial adapter. Pls keep in mind, that if you're use CP341 with RS232 interface, only one real device can connect to that CP, in case of RS485 you can attach more devices on bus.
