I am wondering if any forum members have experience with this Anybus Serial Server product, creating a connection from the PLCto the programming device via our plant procuction network.

Specifically, I am in need of creating the network link to the integrated PLC in our Sinumerik NCU's strictly for online Step 7 programming/monitoring. I have inquired with bothSimatic and Sinumeriksupport staff as to a Siemens solution (ie communications processor) but have been given the impression that the solution does not exist, which brings me to the Anybus converter.

As per the Anybus Serial Server, it requires an MPI dongle, with 9 pin Dsub connectors on each end, between the Anybus module and the PLC programming port.

Hello,

PG/PC接口面板不支持COM端口。

COM Ports are not supported by PG/PC Interface panel.

查看名为NDIS WAN IP的条目，然后尝试链接。

Have a look about an entry named NDIS WAN IP maybe and try to link.

If this is not shown, then maybe the combination of Anybus Serial Server, your operating System and Step 7 doesn't work.
